Sister Hill opened in April of 2018. It is a unique 5 Bedroom Inn & Event Center located in Manchester, IA. This 5000+ sq ft Victorian style home was built just over 160 years ago and recently renovated and restored to bring back its original charm (with a bit of a modern twist). Any of the pieces that were salvageable from the house were reused in the process. As you walk through the rooms, you will see the original hardwood floors, bathroom tiles, kitchen sink and a few vintage chandeliers purchased by the families who lived there long before.

When you rent Sister Hill, it becomes your home away from home. The Inn is a perfect location for bridal parties (not to mention a beautiful space to get ready the morning of the big day!), family or friends traveling to the area or for the adventurers checking out Iowa's biggest Whitewater Park just a few blocks away! With a full kitchen, 5 bedrooms and 2.5 bath, this retreat will comfortably accommodate up to 13 people. Reserving the Inn includes the entire 5 bedroom, fully furnished house. Bring your own food and toiletries and we will supply the rest!

Two great rooms with elegant vintage chandeliers can be divided for smaller occasions or combined as an event space for up to 80 people. The stylish outdoor courtyard adds additional space for up to 50 people. Ideal for bridal showers, baby showers, birthday parties, reunions, graduations, intimate weddings, holiday events, business gatherings or anything else your heart desires!

In the fall of 2016, Tiffany was back in Iowa from Chicago and saw that this, once elegant, house on Main Street sat empty. Remembering the grandness of the home from childhood, together,  Jan, Jamie and Tiff went to view the space and fell instantly in love. As the mom and caregiver she is, Jan saw the potential for an Inn and an opportunity to provide the community with a unique option for hospitality. With a background in event planning and design, Jamie immediately saw the endless event possibilities and began choosing decor and furniture to furnish the home and create a multi-functional space that could be transformed for any event. As a hair stylist, Tiff's mind turned to brides and worked to create the perfect areas for hair and makeup and unique spaces for photo opportunities.  With little convincing,  they recruited Jamie's handy husband, Jeff and the year and a half project was under way.  Together, they planned, designed and gave the house their full heart. Sister Hill became much more than a business for them. It feels very much like a home and they are proud of what they have accomplished.
